Sahayog raj Adhikari is a Nepal based filmmaker with a diverse background in acting, casting, and producing. He has worked as an actor/casting director in various TV films including ‘Crime Patrol Nepal’, fiction films, and theater productions. He has also worked as a program head, conceptualizing and producing TV shows for TV filmy, and Gauthali Entertainment. He has produced documentaries for Save the Children, and Blue Diamond Society. “Yatra” is his debut documentary.

LSM is an Independent Filmmaker from Western Nepal. Sailesh directs short films and documentaries from Gauthali Entertainment. He is a Media Studies Graduate from Kathmandu University School of Arts.

Director’s Intention
This story draws profound inspiration from the diverse experiences of queer individuals from around the globe, particularly focusing on the common thread of diaspora that often weaves through these narratives. It delves into the complexities of identity, belonging, and self-expression as they intersect with the challenges of being queer in different cultural contexts.

Through the characters and settings, the story highlights the resilience, creativity, and courage required to embrace one’s true colors, even in the face of societal pressures or alienation from both, home and new environments.

At its core, the story is a celebration of living authentically. It seeks to reassure readers that embracing one’s identity, no matter how complex or multifaceted, is not only righteous but also necessary for personal liberation and communal strength.
