Gauthali entertainment celebrates Women of/in/from Cinema.

Through screenings, interactions between veteran and the younger generation of Nepali Cinema, Women in Cinema celebrates Women’s contribution to Nepali Cinema.

GENDER IN CINEMA 2021

Gauthali Entertainment were the grantees of the British Council’s Gender in Cinema Campaign jointly organized with the Film Development Board- Government of Nepal, and Plan International. 

The research paper, ‘Representation of Women and Girls in Nepal’s Cinema’ was also introduced here.

Documentary | Non-Narration

The Asia Foundation, supported by UKAID, has commissioned Gauthali twice to produce short documentaries on inspirational working women in Science and Technology. 

Women are rare in Science and Technology, and highlighting their achievements is an important feat. These documentaries have been produced as a part of Women in Science and Technology Day, put together by Data for Development in Nepal and Development Initiatives.
